Try switching to the gummy ones... I couldnt take the regular ones because the iron in them was too harsh in my stomach... the gummy ones dont have iron and are much gentler-- and taste pretty good too... with my 1st daughter they didnt have gummies so my doctor told me to take the Flintstone chewable vitamins-- 2 a day
Try taking the gummy prenatal vitamins . That happened to me then wen I took the gummies I didn't feel sick anymore.
They sound so much better than the horse pills I've been taking. I'll try that. Thanks. :)
Try taking them at night and not in the morning
Flinstone gummies will work just as good
I stopped taking my prenatals 3wks now bcuz it was fine at first but once I got to 14wks and I took them it triggered the nausea so I STOPPED cuz it was so unbearable, ugh! I am going to get the gummy ones bcuz I cannot deal with these regular prenatal vitamins at all. Sigh.
The Flintstones Gummies Are Real Good.. Chew 2 But My Nurse Told Me That They Don't Have iron in Them So Make Sure You Eat Foods With iron in Them.. :-)
It could also just be morning sickness.
Make sure you take them after you eat
I took the gummies for a while and they also made me sick. If this happens, try taking them with a lil milk. I'm fine now at 18&2. Good luck momma
Prenatal vitamins had me so sick I almost ended up in the hospital for dehydration cause I could not keep anything down. As soon as I switched to just regular gummu vitamins and a iron pill I was SO much better!
Thanks, everyone. I've tried taking them in the morning and at night. Neither works.. I still end up feeling sick to my stomach. Its only when I take it as well. Thankfully, no morning sickness so that's a plus. I just went out and bought the gummies. I'm gonna try those and see how they work! Does anyone think it's because of how young I am? Could that also be a factor? I'm 16.
I've been throwing up everyday from them for the past couple weeks. My doctor told me to stop taking them for a couple days and see what happens and then she says she most likely recommends I start on gummy vitamins and that most woman have to switch in the second trimester to gummies!
