I agree that a healthier lifestyle would be best. If your boyfriend is smoking pot, that won't affect the baby, but it could affect his fertility. You however, shouldn't smoke anything or take opioids.
If you are TTC you need to come off of the opiates COMPLETELY, you both need to quit smoking cigarettes and marijuana. By doing these things you are putting any child you conceive at risk of a whole slew of problems. There is ALWAYS a chance that you can have a special needs child even if you are the healthiest person in the world, but doing the things you have been increases that risk. Is that something you guys are prepared for? Taking prenatal vitamins and eating healthy is a GREAT Start!
That said, if you took tests back in november that said positive, did you go to the doctor? Just because you got a "period" does not mean that you are not pregnant. A test doesn't just show up positive and then not. If you had miscarried your period would have been worse than normal, heavier and a lot more cramps. Since it was LIGHTER than normal I have to wonder if you aren't still pregnant. You really need to get in to see an obgyn as soon as possible. With the drugs you have taken and the hep c you need to be checked and monitored closely. PLEASE make an appt to find out for certain.
BTW the clear like stuff is either semen or cervical mucus and it's normal as long as it isn't greenish or has a foul odor.
It's good that you're taking prenatal vitamins. You both need to stop smoking period. It's not good if you are ttc. As for him, smoking pot weaken the sperms decreasing your chances to conceive. Stay away from it! SSBD!
Sounds like you could be pregnant if you had a + test! You need to go to a dr to get checked for sure! Smoking during any part of your pregnancy rasises your risk of low borth weight, sids, and the list goes on!!!
I think you both need to get things together first before trying if you aren't. Good that you stopped smoking pot but you both need to quit and remain off everything before! Not when you find out. You can do it if you really want to have a baby together. You will see and you will be glad for what you did for you family and baby!
You both have to quit smoking pot! Him too! For it not to effect your baby you should be off it for a month before conceiving. Smoking also decreases your chances of conceiving so you should quit that too. You are going to have to when you get pregnant anyways so why not now. AWESOME that you are taking prenatal vitamins.
