missing Daddy?

I'm 24 weeks and 4 days. My bf has been telling me that since I could first feel our son  move that he has "Daddy/Rory Time" with the baby where after I pass out, he rubs my belly, talks to, or reads to him. I didn't really believe him too much because usually he falls asleep around the same time that I do. Until last night, my BF had to work 12 midnight until 12 noon today. Every hour after 12, the baby would kick just hard enough to wake me up and for me to feel him tumble around a little then I'd fall back asleep for the process to start over.

Is it possible that our baby knew that Daddy wasn't home, and was restless because he missed him? He's usually more active at night anyway, but he seemed more restless last night than whenever his dad is usually home and in bed with us.

That's so cute :) my baby doesn't move for my boyfriend that much. He just moves a lot with me and during the day.

I work 55+ hour work weeks, so believe me whenever I say that I don't feel a thing whenever and if my BF does any of those things haha. I'm typically dead to the world come 8 PM. Baby doesn't usually move anywhere near as much as what he did last night :p

It's possible, my boyfriend stays up all night playing his ps4 and talking to his friends online and he says he's always messing with me and I dont wake up. But I have been woken up by my babies kicks it's very different. I'm sure your baby probably is used to daddy being there and last night with him being absent he noticed. :) totally possible.

Are you saying you believe your boyfriend rubs your belly,  sings,  and talks to your belly (loud enough to be heard in the womb) and that doesn't wake you up?  I don't think I've ever known anyone who can sleep through something like that.  But then last night,  your baby kicking you woke you up every hour?

I think your boyfriend is pulling your leg about rubbing on you and singing and you don't wake up.

My baby boy will start kicking and throwing a fit if his daddy doesn't say bye to him in the morning when he goes to work. It's the cutest thing!

My baby boy always moves away when my husband try to feel him. Even when he's super active he'll just stop, I'll put my hand and he'll start right back up again. Lol ill be honesty my little boy won't move much for people, but for me he'll move like crazy :)

I believe its entirely possible. My hubby has only felt Daniel kick once ( im 25 weeks) due to the fact that every time he is in one of his kicking spells and daddy puts his hand on my belly it settles Daniel right down. I believe my hubby and my son have a connection already! And so does your son and his daddy!
