I can't believe I don't have any around the house! With a two year old you would think I'd know to have them, but so far he's never colored on a wall before the last two days.
lol that is awesome :) nothing a magic eraser wont fix
*bumping* One more time to give a laugh to you late in the day MHers!
LOL I doubt he'll learn, I don't know if you saw where I said Elijah was drawing on a wall last night...but DH didn't do a good job putting away the pencil after he'd already seen him do it...
And you're right, I couldn't be mad at him, he was so proud of himself, and so excited to show me the bird and butterfly!
Yeah, I would be mad at my DH too if it were my situation. It's crazy what little hands can get into when they're curious! And it's hard to be mad when he was so proud of what he drew. Maybe DH will learn now that he has to paint the kitchen! :)
LOL. Elijah would love helping me clean it, but I don't think it will do much good right now...I don't want more paint coming off the walls! I was a little irritated because DH should have put the pencil somewhere Elijah CAN'T reach it...but it was so cute him telling me about his "butterfly" and "bird"...
Lol, this cheered up my rather depressing day today! I remember when I was little I found a crayon and some markers and drew all over the walls and countertop. If I remember right, my Dad thought it was hilarious and my Mom was livid. She got out a can of WD40 and made me help her clean it off.
Yeah, I so should not have attempted to use the sponge. I just knew it was gonna take some paint with it...and I didn't even use the side you scrub with! Oh well, that's what paint is for!
I'm sure if you asked him what it is now he'd tell you a tree, or something else...
The thing that REALLY gets me is DH wasn't paying attention yesterday and he did it then, and like an hour after he did it on one wall I realized he'd done it in the kitchen too...so Josh calls him in there and tells him it's not nice and bad to color on the wall, seriously? Like he remembers that he did it in the first place. You can't gripe him out for doing it when you weren't paying attention for one, and so long after he did it...
LOL...oh man. I feel bad for u but i love this all at the same time! BTW....i wish i could see how he gets "butterflies and birds" out of that...haha. At least he has a great imagination! The magic erasers do work wonders btw...i use them all the time. best part of all...it WONT take the paint off the walls!
LOL. It's so not funny, but it is too...I had to laugh because it was so cute that Elijah was telling me he drew butterflies and birds...
Its def a man thing. My DBs daughters NEVER write on anything when I'm hope or eat anywhere but the kitchen! But when im not here I come home to cheese rubbed into carpet and drawnings on the fridge their bedroom walls ect. I'm like how?!
Well, I started trying to get some off on one wall with a sponge, and started to remove paint...the pencil did come off for the most part, but I don't want to remove any more paint, so I'm gonna have to wait and get the magic erasers, or just paint over it...I think I'll try the magic eraser first, I know they work good.
Thats funny....my daughter did that when I was pregnant with my son, and oh my gosh, permanent marker is no joke to get out...I scrubbed and scrubbed for what seemed like forever...
*bumping* Seems like some need a laugh today, so this is my humor for you!
I guess so...oh well, I was laughing when I wrote it to him..."happy anniversary, you get to paint the kitchen"...he asked why and I sent him pics...
oh yeah definitely, i've played video games my whole life, everything from WoW, to halo. But like you, can multitask, it must be a man thing LOL
Don't get me wrong, I have my games I like to play once in a while too (shooting games are a great stress relief). BUT I know how to multitask.
I just had to get colored pencil off DS's wall a few days ago, where he found one ill never know, but if you use the mr.clean magic erasers it gets off pretty much anything. my mom used them with my brothers when they first came out and it even got sharpie off! too bad it doesnt work on furniture lol
LOL thats too funny what you told your DH, i'd do the same thing since he was the one supposed to be watch him haha, and i know how you feel my DH plays video games too, its like they zone out completely
Well I tried using a regular sponge, and managed to remove a little paint...oops. Oh well, I sent DH pics, and on top of a happy anniversary message told him he gets to paint the kitchen.
lol your right it is funny but isnt all at the same time, thank goodness for magic erasers, they get off everything, even sharpie.
LOL. Sometimes it's either laugh or cry. Like a few weeks ago when I found Gabe "decorating" our BRAND NEW couch and throw pillows with a SHARPIE. Fortunately I was able to get it out of everything but one throw pillow.
