HCG results still worried !

HI girls ! -  Today is 6 weeks since lmp.   My hcg level was at 288 on July 23.  I had another test yesterday July 28 and just learned my hcg is 984.   Dr is still telling me to be cautioulsy optimistic.   I know the levels are low but they seem to be increasing ok .  She is going to check with the dr and get me an u/s this week.   What could be wrong that they keep telling me to be cautiosly optimistic  ?  I feel i am alway a total wreck.  THANKS!!

I agree w/ Laura.  They are rising, so I don't know what they are talking about either.  I will PM you a website I found for another poster on here that was having the same problem only hers was very high and she thought she might be having a molar pregnancy.  She is now 39 weeks pregnant and will delivery at anytime!!

I think as long as they are doubling, you have reason to be "cautiously" optimistic!

Please keep us posted and try (I know, impossible!) to relax. Stress isnt good for you or the baby! = )
