Like Nicole said it's only if you had a negative blood type, even then there is no problem bc the Dr. would know to give you the rhogam shot. Your friend is wrong about same blood type as well. When you have the same blood type you don't have to get the shot at all. It is just most men don't know their type so they give women the shot to be safe if they are negative. They call it RH-.

B+ means you are rh (rhesus) positive. It doesn't cause any issues in the pregnancy because you have the factor. If you don't, you are rhesus negative, ie: B-, and would require rhogam injections at 28w and after birth.

We are planning for baby. My friend told me that u both have same blood group so there will be problem in the pregnancy. So I scared about it.
What is "RH" factor. Is it same as blood group means if I have B+ve blood group then rh is also +ve or it is different.

No precautions need to be taken before pregnancy. You have a positive blood type so you will not have to get the shots. How far along are you?

The only time blood type is a problem is when you as the mother have a negative blood type and the father is positive. In this case they give you a shot at around 28 weeks and after birth. Since most men don't know their blood type they give this shot to you anytime you have a negative blood type, unless your husband knows he has a negative blood type also. It does not cause problems in the current pregnancy but if you do not receive the shot and you are negative and he is positive it effects future pregnancies. It could cause you to miscarry any future pregnancies.
