I tried everthing.. Spicy foods, pineapple, walking and bouncing on a birthing ball while stimulating my nips lol.. Nothing worked not even the sweep went all the way to 42 weeks and had to be induced :( my cervix was still high and was only 1cm

I have heard that it can. Also try walking, sitting and rolling/slightly bouncing on a pregnancy ball, sex, (that is how my sister got her first son to be delivered...it has something to do with the act itself and the sperm has a reaction on the sac that breaks the water), spicy foods, and doing squats.

Good luck! I hope something helps!

Im not sure about your question. But i thought id share this with you. Ive been doing exercises on the exercise/birthing ball and im completely thinned out a centimeter dilated and hes really really low head down. Right after i started using the ball is when all this happened. It doesnt start labor but it helps the baby get head down n puts pressure on your cervix to start thinning and all that. i just turned 36weeks today!Good Luck!
