Kay I did a ultasoumd during my third month Kay they told me my due date nov 20 n that I'm 13 and 5 days they measure the baby Kay right now I'm 26 weeks well I was with the doctor today n she measured with the tape n told me I'm 30 weeks n I was like that can't b my last period was in feb 17 Kay n I know for a fact the ultrasound is more grantee then the tape or am I wrong
It's perfectly normal for you to measure bigger. I've been 2 weeks ahead for a while now but the baby is growing at a normal rate and is normal size.
Kay I went to have my ultrasound the doctor was wrong I'm 26 weeks n 3 days and weighs 2pounds
So it might just b my baby is big my mom said it's better to go off of the ultrasound then the measuring tape she said my 13 weeks was right n I shuld b between 26 to 27 weeks not 29 weeks or 30 cause the ultrasound Is more grantee
The tape is just a way the Dr tries to determine if ur growing properly without having to do ultrasounds at every appointment. Since babies grow at diff rates then its possible to measure bigger or smaller than ur estimated due date. Just BC it measures you at 30 does not mean ur now 30 instead of 26. If you continue to measure bigger they may do an ultrasound to check in on baby but even that won't change how far along u are necessarily if u are measuring 4 wks bigger by then.
It's pretty likely that could be the cause then. You will find out for sure soon if you have your test Tuesday. Just try not to stress too much. Baby can feel that and it's no good for either of you. Good luck
And okay thanks tomorrow is my ultrasound and no I haven't took that test yet but on Tuesday I am gonna have too but it stressed me out cause I was like 30 how can that b when at 13 weeks I add up tip now I'm 26 weeks not 30 n idk it stressed me all kinds
All that means is that your uterus is measuring 30cm. It could be the position baby was lying, you could have an excessive amount of fluid or baby could just be bigger than average. I wouldn't stress out too much about it. Measuring the bump with a tape is never accurate. It's just a guesstimate.
If you continue to measure 4 weeks bigger your Dr is likely to order another ultrasound just to check baby's growth and development. Also if you have gestational diabetes that can cause you to have a bigger baby. If you haven't had the test yet it is probably worth asking your Dr about it

A lot of people measure 2-3 weeks behind or ahead of their dates sometimes more it's not really anything to worry about plus all due dates are only estimates

It's fine if ultra sound measured you 26 then your 26 I'm 35 weeks but Jesus 39 due to my daughter been bigger it can happen tape not all ways correct
