When calculating due date do you go by first day of last period or measurement of baby?

Measurement of baby is more reliable than trying to guess your ovulation date, especially if you have an irregular cycle

They always ask for the first day of last period they never ask for what the ultrasound said...I guess im so confused...lil peanut will I come when ready I guess

Hi, I would measure from lmp unless ur told otherwise at scan, I was put back 3 days at an early scan I had xxx

Thank you because I had a scan done and I should be 9w 5d by lmp but baby is measuring right about 9 weeks...I was confused on what the due date would be

I agree with sehale completely.   I'm actually due a week later then my last period they figure I just ovulated late.   Baby was measuring a week early at my last u/s but they said my due date will not change.

That depends. If you had a dating scan in the first trimester, I'd go by that. After the first trimester, go by what you were originally told in the first trimester because babies grow at different rates after that. By my last period I should be a month ahead in my pregnancy (I skipped a period before I got pregnant).
