I just wouldn't want to accidently make a bloody mess. I don't want to walk by and be like that blood stain is where I gave birth Haha.
Lol I'd be to scared of at home birth
They do water births that's amazing. Idk if the hospitals around me do that I have like 3 within 15 mins of me. I'll be going to all of them. If they do I'll be water birthing that's awesome. I say do it. I want one but if my hospitals don't do it I can't have a home birth because I live with my dad he said no Haha.
I don't really have any that near me other than the one in my town i know they do water births my mom was going to get it with me but c section had to happen lol just not sure how they allow me to do it. Grr i just want her to write my plan lol
Its fine. Haha. I've had tons of questions and I've researched so much with this pregnancy unlike my first which I regret not doing. But the hospitals have hospital tours so find hospitals close enough to you that you're willing to travel to call l and d and ask when they have tours and ask at the tour about other positions. If they say you can't do it ask how they'll stop you that's what I'll be doing Haha and I'll choose a hospital who allows squatting and all fours.
Can i do it on all fours? Or no? Lol do i have to squat? Can i lay? Sorry so many ?'s lol
And yes on your back is the worst position you should Google it. I'm surprised not all hospitals tell you to try other positions after what I've read about the benefits of other positions I guess its because they want to pull your baby out and its harder in other positions but I'm kind of interested in getting my own baby out
The water is really good for calming the pain down. And its a good transition for the baby.
I've heard that it's bad and unsafe to do on your back which freaked me out but I'm not really comfortable with squatting bit i might be okay with on all fours.. Won't do epidural i don't think.. What's so great about water birth tho?
I'm having a home water birth. I will most likely be squating.
I'm doing a natural child birth and I'll be having her on my hands and knees.
U should include birthing position in your birth plan.
Idk of this counts but I plan to have a natural hospital birth but I'll be squatting.
Most midwifes do unassisted births. I have one with my second son. They're there watching but don't aid unless there is a life threatening issue. They catch they baby when it's juat about out. Do you want to have your baby in a different position too?
Welp u have unassisted birth. They don't pull the baby they just catch.
