Sharp pains!:(
Woke up around midnight with a sharp pain on my lower left abdomen and then radiated through my lower abdomen. After what a minute or so it went away but I noticed my stomach was really hard. Happened again about 4 hours later and it lasted a little longer. Any ideas on what it could be? And should I go to the hospital even though it comes and goes? Ftm. 23+4 weeks.
I've felt Braxton hicks already and this pain doesn't feel like that all.
My hospital doesn't have a baby section that's all done at a separate place across town, it's almost 6 am here and my dr opens at 9 should I wait to see him or go to the hospital now?

It sounds like a contraction sweetie.
If they are painful then its possible they aren't BraxtonHicks but real contractions and could be a sign of preterm labor. Call your Dr and ask if u need to be seen
