im almost 36 weeks and was wondering if it is safe to shoot a bow? I've been told guns are not safe but this weekend my brother wants to take me to a shooting range so we can shoot some bows..any other moms that have done it?

Ok? And I just said it probably depends on the person. Some doctors will say yes others will say no. With the bow I just don't think there would be any real danger because it's all upper body strength really.

Um idk where you're from but in texas we shoot and hunt year round and im 38 weeks pregnant and was just out shooting last weekend. My doctor said there was no problem with it. I'm not sure on the bow because of the weight your having to pull back depending on Ur size tho so U might wanna ask ur OB

It probably just depends on who the instructor is. I never thought there would be anything wrong with it but was told not too. Just depends on the person I guess.

Huh, i actually went to the gun range a coupla weeks ago and didn't have any problems. And the guy knows I'm pregnant and he didn't say anything about it. But i guess every pregnancy is different.

I was told because of the lead and the noise. An instructor told me he has had people vomit because they didn't know they were pregnant and the noise startles the baby.

I don't see a problem with it. I hunt and never been told by my doctor that I couldn't shoot.
