6 wks 0 days pregnant...is 90 bpm a slow heart rate?

6 wks 0 days pregnant...is 90 bpm a slow heart rate?
I went to the doctor yesterday for my 8 week viability trans vaginal ultrasound. The U/S tech said I was measuring at 6 weeks 0 days. Which could be since I had no idea when my last period was, I was just guessing. But they came up with 8 weeks because 4 weeks earlier I had my first ultrasound which showed nothing, no sac, fetus, nothing. She just said it was to early. She could see thickening and just guessed I was 4 weeks. Then 4 weeks later this is what is going on. That would mean my first ultrasound I was only 2 weeks pregnant? And I found out a week earlier which would mean I found out at a week pregnant? Anyways next concern would be the heart rate was 90 bpm. She only tried twice to get that measurement. They seemed concern so I go back next week. I am terrified. I just wish I haven't had any ultrasounds. Basically I am measuring 2 weeks behind with a heart rate. I am so scared to go back next week. What are the chances everything will be OK? I haven't had cramps or bleeding. My morning sickness has went away a lot but not completely. Thanks so much in advance!

I just game from my u/s and thought i was 6w4d, but I only measured 5w6d. We saw the heartbeat but it was only measuring 100bpm, so now I'm really scared. I have another u/s next Monday, although my doctor said it still might be too early. She said she would be worried if she hadn't seen the heart at all (and we could see the yolk sac and it was in the right place), so to just relax and come back next week.
Has anyone had a low heartbeat at this stage and had a healthy pregnancy?

since we were able to see boog and bug on u/s and with the little microphone thing (i have no idea what it's called) at 9 wks their heart beats were well over 100. they were b/w 150-250 my entire pregnancy. we couldn't see them before 9 weeks so i don't know if that's normal for 6 weeks.

Hey gotta add ladies... even tho baby's HB at 6w3d or so was 123... HB this week at 10+ weeks is high 150's! (got a doppler to rent... it works but took some searching to find my bean)

It's normal... then as baby gets bigger and older, it slows back down a touch.

is it just me or are people missing the point here? at 6 to 8 weeks, you're lucky to see a heartbeat at all. perhaps these bpms are low because the heart has only recently started to beat?

I just had a trans vaginal ultrasound and measured 6w1d but the heart rate was 44bpm...I am freaking out!  Does that mean that my chances of this pregnancy lasting is pretty much 0%?  They scheduled me to come back in a week to do another...a week seems like forever right now...has anyone ever had a bpm that low with a successful pregnancy?

Thanks!  I guess you can say I got a positive pregnancy test 7 dpo.  I think....I have no idea?  This is confusing.  I actually called the doctor today and told him there is no way I can wait till next week for another ultrasound, so I am getting one on Friday.  I'm scared but I need to know!  Oh and I do know the heart rate should be 80-85 at 5 1/2 weeks (when it starts beating), so not sure where that would put me though.

When did you get a positive pregnancy test?

"2 weeks pregnant" is actually when you ovulate and the egg is fertilized. So it is possible to see the uterine lining thickening up in preparation for a fertilized egg. But it's not possible to have a positive pregnancy result then because the embryo has not implanted or given off the HCG yet. I just don't understand how you would have a positive and get an ultrasound that early on. One of the downfalls of finding out you're pregnant really early, I suppose.

Anyway, in very early pregnancy the heartrate is pretty low. But the heartrate needs to be over 100 bpm. I don't know WHEN it needs to be that high, though. I'm probably just freaking you out more. Sorry!
