Signs of labor?

I'm 38 weeks and 1 day. And I have dull cramps in my back and down my thighs. I've had then since 3 this morning. Could this be a sign of labor? I am already dilated to a 2 and a half and 50% effaced.

Yeah. I'm on #2 right now. It's weird. I haven't been having any contractions but just have a back ache and in my legs also. It's not too bad yet. I will just have to see what happens.

Very well could be. I only had back labor with #2. Just felt like I had to poo, no pain with contractions. The nurses didn't believe I was in labor and were going to send me home. I had to force them to check me and I was at 5cm.
