My LMP was 26th Jan and my periods have varied from 33-48 days, so i will look out for the CM change. Hasnt happened yet.
Fertile mucous is more stretchy than semen. If you try to stretch it apart and it breaks easily it is semen, not fertile mucous.
I was/am irregular as well. The best advice I can give you is to chart when you start your period. The longest cycle you have and the shortest take both numbers and subtract each of them by 14. For instance my longest cycle was 38 days and my shortest was 29. So 38 -14=24 and 29-14=15. So days 15-24 of my cycle are the possible days I'd be ovulating. My Luteal Phase (the time between ovulation and your next period) is 14 days. Most women usually ovulate 14 days BEFORE their next period but it can be off a couple days. Hope that helped.
Also, how can you tell if its fertile mucus, or sperm if your having frequent sex?
