Signs of ovulation

Hi

Im trying to get pregnant but i have irregular periods so i can never be 100% sure when im ovulating and when is the best time to have more sex.

I have tried ovulation sticks, but they always appear negative.

Is there anythiing I can look out for in body changes that is a sign i am going to ovulated.

ok thank you, that helps. I will give it a go. Fingers crossed.
My LMP was 26th Jan and my periods have varied from 33-48 days, so i will look out for the CM change. Hasnt happened yet.

Fertile mucous is more stretchy than semen. If you try to stretch it apart and it breaks easily it is semen, not fertile mucous.

I was/am irregular as well. The best advice I can give you is to chart when you start your period. The longest cycle you have and the shortest take both numbers and subtract each of them by 14. For instance my longest cycle was 38 days and my shortest was 29. So 38 -14=24 and 29-14=15. So days 15-24 of my cycle are the possible days I'd be ovulating. My Luteal Phase (the time between ovulation and your next period) is 14 days. Most women usually ovulate 14 days BEFORE their next period but it can be off a couple days. Hope that helped.
