Signs of twins?

I'd there any such thing or is it a load of crap? Just wondering because my fiance was a twin the ONLY twin in the family, but my mom need teasing me and said she dreamt there was two. One is enough two is a omg, so I was wondering if there were any tell tale signs other than getting an ultrasound. I'm 9 weeks.

I told my husband we were having twins at only 4weeks and was right! Things were so different I told the pregnancy early on than my other two!! Horrible back pain, nauseous but no throwing up, awful period like cramps till I was almost 16weeks!! Dr did an ultrasound that same day and sure enough twins!

I found out at 6 weeks I was pregnant. Since then I had morning sickness it would get to the point I felt like getting sick but couldn't, horrible I mean HORRIBLE heartburn and always tired. Lessening up now I think. But I am just curious now cause my mom said that I'm like....hmmm...guess I'll have to wait till I get an ultrasound.

Its a load of crap that there are signs. It is possible to believe youre having twins and happen to be right though. Twins run in my bfs family on both sides every generation and im telling every one this pregnancy feels different bc it is (and every single pregnancy even for the same woman varies to some degree) but whether or not its true we wont know til next wednesday. If there is a way to tell though I hope someone posts it here but in all my research and questioning of ultrasound techs, there is not.

You can't have twins if you don't have twins in your family even if your husband have. It's all thru mothers side as Dr told us cause we both have twins in family. If I don't have twins in my family but my husband then chances of having twins are slim. Some people are lucky. I dunno

Husbands sperm can hit two eggs and fertilize so yes if twins are not on the womans side it is possible lol thats what happens to the women in his family. Theres different types of twins. Fraternal and paternal twins and twins had to start somewhere in the geneological line.

I've read that twins have more to do with a trait that runs in her family called hyper ovulation and I've also read it has nothing to do with the father. But hey idk...can't believe everything u read I suppose. All I know is the twins run on my side and my husband doesn't have any in his family so it was all my doing that we're having twins right now lol. As far as the signs...I had a lot more symptoms this go round than I did with my other pregnancies and I felt them when I was only about 2 weeks pregnant but I'm not sure if it's because they're twins or because every pregnancy is just different. Who knows...whatever the case may be goodluck mama!

Twins usually runs in the family but skip a generation. In my case my brother and sister in law are twins, so my children (OE their children my have twins) but on my side of the family my moms cousins are twins, so everyone was freaking out that I was having twins. But I'm not, at least not this pregnancy lol.
