Sleep tips?

I'm currently 5 weeks pregnant. At night it's nearly impossible for me to sleep. I've always been a stomach sleeper, but I'm trying to get myself comfortable with sleeping on my side so I've began about a week ago. My hips ACHE! It's also causing some discomfort in my butt? And despite not being able to sleep at night, every day I become dead exhausted and need a nap. I've tried to hold myself over until nighttime so I can get a full nights sleep, but come nighttime I was wide awake again! Any tips for any of these problems?

Thank you very much ladies! Last night I propped up a pillow behind my back and slept partially on my stomach, and I finally slept like an angel! I almost said "slept like a baby" but we all know how they sleep hahaha

You can still sleep on your stomach. I still do and I'm 18 weeks. You atop when it gets uncomfortable for you. Your back isn't the best to sleep on because it doesn't give the baby much blood circulation. Get a pregnancy pillow. I have the one just for your stomach and I put it under my back and I'm completely comfortable :)

Ya know, I wouldn't worry about sleeping on your stomach.  It's not bad for the baby and the only reason why you stop is because you get so you just can't do it with the baby bump.  Then, you won't 'want' to do it.  So, don't worry about that now and get some rest!!
