Definately try sleeping on your side. The earliee you start the easier it will be later on. I have a giant pregnancy pillow that wraps around my body and i can use it to prop my stomach and many other ways along with another under my tummy and another under my head and neck abd one to prop my feet. Lol i sleep great aside from indigestion and bathroom trips.
I slepton my belly until I literally couldn't anymore. Lol my baby is just fine.(:
They say as long as you and baby are comfortable. I'm 38 Weeks I lay in my back and tummy until the lil one starts to kick meaning he don't likk it
Thank yall so much i guess I'm gonna have to go get a pillow to help me sleep in my side.
Back and tummy are not good for sleeping on. My friend is a mid wife and told me Sleeping on your tummy crushes the baby and sleeping on your back crushes the main artery that supplies the baby blood, and the babies weight can cut it off completely and you can end up with a still born bub. So I wouldn't advise either. It's not comfy but it's also not for ever.
I'm 20w too I been told its fine as long as its comfortable to you. Your body and baby will tell you if it's not okay anymore.
Well he starts kicking when I lay on stomach im not sure if he's awake at night and asleep during the day or I'm squishing him and he's telling me to get up
Honestly if it feels comfortable to you your probably ok I'm sure your baby or your body will tell you move... I sleep on my right side with my leg on a pillow almost on my belly and we are just fine 30wks pregnant
My doc said as long as your not uncomfortable sleep however.
At 20 weeks I did, if it's not causing you to be uncomfy, lightheaded, heart race, my doctor said it's fine
Not sure about sleeping on your tummy though
Ive read that its not that good to sleep on your back because the uterus pushes on the main artery that brings blood back from the legs and also can slow down nutrients going to the baby. I sleep on my side now its uncomfortable but anything for my baby :)
