Usually 18-20 weeks. Some people found out at 16 wks but doctors have to be careful. At 16 wks they may not be fully developed. When I way 16 wks they told me I was having a boy and a girl. When I was 18 wks they told me I was having two boys. I wish they would had just waited to tell me in till they were sure at 18 wks. It was up setting to find out that one wasnt a girl. I'm find with two boys but been told something different at first made me want a girl too. So I am really surprised that your doctor hasn't taken a closer look at your baby.

Doctors usually wait til about 20 wks but a good tech can tell at 15-16 wks. Ive had 4 ultrasounds already at 19 wks but my lil one wont uncross its legs. I have one more try on aug 9 i will be 21 wks so hopefully this baby will cooperate.
