I am currently 16 wks I went for an ultrasound today and my baby refused to open its legs so I still don't know my baby's gender I am so ready to start buying things which is hard for me to do with an unknown gender.... Has this ever happened to anyone?

I will defiantly try the mountain dew thing I just got confirmation email my next appointment is July 15th I will keep you ladies updated thanks for the responses

I know its not healthy and I'm not a soda drinker but with my last pregnancy my cousin advised me to drink a mountain dew before my appointment and sure enough when I got there my baby was awake and active enough for me to find out. Not saying that u should do that but hey it worked for me!

Same thing happened to me twice so I decided to keep it a surprise. Got tired of being dissapointed

My Dr is making me wait till after week 20 to find out... I'm getting impatient lol

I think I will go with the gender neutral clothes I get ultrasound frequently because my last child was born 2lbs 14oz hopefully I will see something next time... I will try rolling and jumping a few times next time thanks ladies

My 5 year old daughter flashed us that she is a girl but this baby we had 2 scans both 1 hour long trying to get all the measurements and still did not show us what gender it is. So it's a surprise now

Aww. My baby didn't want to open her legs either. I had to roll over a few times to get her moving. I mean her legs was crossed and tucked. Hopefully you can find out soon

Not to me but it took my sister 3 tries to find out she was having a girl. You can still buy things just gender neutral things. I started shopping at 9 weeks haha theres tons of things you can buy.
