need opinions, when to test

Well, df and i have been ttc again since our daughters birth almost 6 weeks ago.  we have been activley trying for  just about 4 weeks now (yeah i know but i'm a quick healer plus it was a very easy delivery).

I havent gotten my period yet but i was wondering when i should try to test?  I'ts kind of hard to judge because my lmp was january of 08  LOL

Have you discussed this with your OB?  The only reason I ask is b/c they tiold me to wait 3 months before trying again after a D&C....and that was only a D&C...not birth....they told me that if my body didn't heal completely that the new embryo may implant in the same spot as the the M/C ones (twins) and there was a much higher risk of M/C.  I would totally let your OB know what your plans are...they may give you the go ahead......Lots of luck

after i stopped bleeding (i had twins and bleed for 6 weeks after delivery) my period came about 2-3 weeks later.

is your body ok to get preg again? i know it's been 12 almost 13 weeks since i had brett and eli (maybe it's because i had twins...i don't know what it's like after just one) and my body is still weak and tired and nowhere near ready to get pregnant again. becareful! don't over do it. maybe wait awhile and giver yourself some time to enjoy mommy hood first.

Have you been breatfeeding?  This could affect when you start your period again.
