My boyfriend just told me he has low sperm count like the bottom 2% but i am pregnant 20 weeks with a healthy pregnancy and its his. Im confused and kind of upset he waited so long to tell me. I would like to have more kids in the future. What does this mean because i got pregnant in the first month of trying??? How did i get pregnant so fast if he has low sperm count?

Just consider yourself lucky you are pregnant eventho he said he's got low sperm counts. And dont worry too much about the second you're planning. You got pregnant once its possible you can get pregnant again:) congrats!

Yes i believe you! He didnt tell me until after i fell pregnant. But it was weird how fast i got pregnant if he was telling the truth. Lol
My partner had a low sperm count in the low 2% as well, and we were told ivf would be our only option. He stopped smoking cigarettes for 2 weeks and I got pregnant naturally! We actually had to cancel our ivf appointment that was scheduled for the next month! Not sure if it was the cigarettes lowering his count, but because sperm replenishes itself on a daily basis any little change in lifestyle habits can help. Because everyone knew our situation too, I felt a bit funny announcing I was pregnant, and I too welcomed a DNA test, but my partner totally knows it's his, and his little boy looks just like him. So don't worry, even with low sperm count, pregnancy is still possible!

Well the guy I slept with told me he has a low sperm count as well and that theres no way he could be the father. Not the first time Ive heard this line, i think its total BS actually lmao cause im 7 mo.ths preggers and its def his baby. We hace had sooo much sex in the past, hes in me a whole lot of times and nothing happened and then one night on his bday we got drunk and well the rest is history. Weed only affects the amount of a mans sperm count while hes smoking. Men constanf ly produce new sperm and it can change due to changes like starting or stopping weed, narcotics, heavy substances, etc.
My fiance has had bad drug problems weed among other stuff for many years and I was told I couldn't get pregnant. Well he stopped all drugs and drinking in Dec 2013 and in April we got a positive test, his count built up after stopping the drugs and I was able to get pregnant, drs are stupid lol. I also just read all the comments, and both him i were in the military. Where he was stationed he was exposed to radiation and some other stuff. All the men got tested when they came back. And that's how my husband found out he has low sperm count. So i told him to get a second opinion from a civilian dr.
I know a guy who said he couldnt have kids and when he stopped smoking weed his girlfriend got pregnant. My friend also got pregnant from her bf who said he couldnt have kids and then had a miscarriage and got pregnant again a month later! Anything can happen!

Well sperm banks only want the best sperm so maybe it just wasn't high enough for their standards
supermom is also right! I don't know how many times I've had friends and family be told they would never have kids and they ALL have. every single one. that stuff is not always as reliable as people like to think!

Weed definitely helps lower it also! Even if he wasn't told he had low sperm count, I'd totally get why he'd think that himself. As long as he isn't saying he doesn't believe it's his!

Lmfao he told me he went to try and sell his sperm and they wouldnt take it cause the count was to low.... Haha idk. He knows its his he got all spiritual and said god said its time. Idk i guess it just takes one sperm to get pregnant and i already know im fertile.

Yeah my bf said that too. Never was tested he just assumed since he had been having sex with condoms and never once had a scare that he couldn't have kids bc drs thought his dad was sterile lol. Guys dont know unless theyve been to a clinic and tested.
