OT Question regarding ex-girlfriend

I just got a friend request on myspace from my other halfs ex-girlfriend from high school.  They were together for a long time in high school and some shortly there after.  Our myspace has his last name even though we aren't married because we have been together for sooo long.  The girl obviously did a search of some kind to find him, sent us a message, and wants to be on our "friends" list.  He hasn't even heard from her since we have been together............about 8 years.  

Does this seem strange to anyone?  Should I just click "deny" so she can't be added to our myspace?  I hate to be rude, but I kinda don't think its appropriate for her but butt into our life especially since we have a 3 year old son and another one on the way.  Any input would be appreciated:)

i cant say deny or add. do you trust him? Is your relationship strong enough for him to have a female friend? Did you ask him what he thought? he might have a better answer than any of us.

i would DENY lol like all the other girls have said me and my boyfriend have separate myspaces and his ex  WAS on his and she added me and dumb me accepted she only wanted to be my friend to see who i was just to compare she caused nothing but problems. for me its not rude what soo ever. she was always telling things to hurt me and get this she was asking my bf about are sex life un believeable... DENY DENY the ex girl shes nothing but problems DENY DENY DENY lol

You are not being rude. Deny. You are a happy family and don't need that kinda drama entering your life right now. Ex girlfriends are only goint to be trouble, maybe not all of them. But he has a family right now, she needs to let him live his life. Good Luck!

The same thing happened to me except me and him are married.  She wanted to be my friend and I denied her.  The past is the past.....LET IT STAY THAT WAY!!!!

deny i had that same thing happen to me and my husband, with this old girl he used to kinda date a few years back, well he accepted her offer to be added as a friend and we got to a bad stage in our relationship, well guess where he ran to, come to find out he saw her a few times and lied to me about where he was going,  def DENY!!!! we are past that now and have come a little ways in our relationship, but the ex thing is never good..

Thats kinda what I was thinking, and really who cares if I do come across rude to her?  We don't know each other..........I just know of her from what my other half has said.  It really took me by surprise when I saw that earlier!  She only lives two hours from us too.
