Spotting/Bleeding

Okay, I have a regular 32 day cycle, and my last menstrual was 06-06-2009, My next cycle was suppose to be 07-07-2009. But it didn't come. Granted I was sexually active on 06-30-2009. I took a pregnacy test 07-08-2009 and it came up negative.

I waited a few more days and on 07-11-2009 it came on. Usually I have a four day cycle with med period first two days and light to spot last two days and its over. But it lasted 7 days, which I haven't had happen to me before. From 07-11-2009 to 07-17-2009, and it was spot one day, to light periods on the 12th and 13th. then the last four days just spots.

I'm confused as to how I'm a week late and then with a longer period. I'm not on any type of birth control nor have I ever been.

Then my next out of wack cycle came 08-17-2009, and last six days, 08-17-2009 to 08-22-2009, and it was the same as before a spot on the first day, on 18th and 19th light period and the last 3 days just a spot. I did have sexual intercourse on 07-28-2009.

And it's two weeks late, it was suppose to come on on 08-08-2009. The color range from dark red/ burgandy to brown to light pink on both cycles.

My question is, is this normal??? Could I be pregnant or not, I heard rumors about bleeding the first three months of pregnancy. And I haven't had the chance to test again yet, since I just got a new job. And has this happen to anyone else before???

Thank you for your comment. But my new job is really stress free, I'm a daycare assistant, and I'm around 3yr olds half the day which they are wonderful.

Would it be hormonal imbalance or something then?? I hate it if it means im becoming irregular, I wanted a baby too.

It sounds as though you're becoming irregular, perhaps due to the stress of a new job. Longer cycles and longer periods of blood flow do not indicate pregnancy.

You could test again to ease your mind. Otherwise I'd wait to see what your next cycle brings. If it is still acting screwy I'd make a call to your OBGYN and let them know something is up (most likely hormonal).
