Yes at the beginning of everything.
Depends on your state requirments. They usually test for hiv, ghonerrea and chlamydia. Some doctors may test for others.
I don't think I was tested automatically for any of it, but in order to get pregnant I had to go to the fertility doc where they tested both of us for everything, so my doctor might have seen it in my paperwork once I was pregnant and didn't bother. Ask your doctor what you have been tested for.
Yes in Tx, Ks, Hi, Ma, and Nh. That's everywhere I was tested and had a baby
That's what they do the papsmear for to test you for std's all of them
Yes they suppose to test you for everything just in case you do have anything they give you meds for it.
I got blood work done to test for all std and HIV. Now that I'm 35 weeks I come back next week to do it again even though I came back negative for everything. They told me it was protocol
Of course Stds Could Harm Ur Baby!
They don't test for everything, I was never tested for herpes. I got a staph infection on my lower back and my dermatologist asked if I had herpes I told her no because I thought they tested for every std at the beginning of pregnancy but she called my ob and they said they hadn't tested me for herpes.
So after a mental breakdown and a herpes culture it came back negative and I learned I had a staph infection.
