Did it work for you???

I'm going to ask my midwife if I can have a membrain sweep today did this help bring labour on for you?

I got it done at 39 weeks 1 day with my daughter. It was uncomfortable. But my water broke a few hours later and I had my daughter in the wee hours of the following morning.

I didn't feel anything while my doc did it, but my friend said she felt it & it was painful, different for everyone i guess, depends on how your doctor does it. But Good Luck!

Oh goodness I can barely get trough a regular check without crying from the pain :/

I think it's like an enternal examination but the doctor uses there fingers I don't think it hurts it's just meant to feel uncomfortable

My worked! I was 39 weeks and got it done, (they put 2 fingers up your cervix & just move them around stretching something lol,) it wasnt painful for me and you do bleed a bit after, but i was already 3½cm dialated when i got it done went into labor 9 hours after getting it done.

Do you knownhow they do it? The midwife said she could try it my next appointment but im scared it'll be painful
