How bad does stress really effect your baby.

Hi,
Good point.I am currently 26 weeks pregnant and stressed like hell. With me is physical stress. Me and my husband just don't get along anymore, his not helping me with anything and his main concern are his 2 other children, while I stress myself out for the one I'm carrying. Been having BH since I hit 24 weeks and now this wired shaky moving of my tummy. Baby doesn't stop moving either. Can go on and on 24/7. So I was wondering if this is because of stress and what impact does that have on my baby?

Thank you ladies so much.. I didn't know it really did effect me thatch but I guess I  was wrong. I am gonna try and stay calm but my job is so stressful and then for some reason my husband's behavior took a total 360.. We are now fighting and that stresses me out a lot.

I can't say how bad it is for baby but I can say that I had a stroke due to stress and I wouldn't want to put any stress on my baby knowing what it did to me

What all the ladies said... And with my first i had a stressful pregnancy, where i also cried a lot. ..my daughter, after Birth was crying a lot, and was stressed herself as well.. Heard it from many other moms, that babies are more fussy then... a good calm pregnancy equals a calmer baby. :)

Whenever I get stressed, baby knows and moves a lot less. It's not good at all.

Two years ago I was soo stressed out that I ended up going into a stress induced labor at 19 weeks :( this is my fourth pregnancy and I have no kids, so yea stress can really take a toll. Thankfully im completely healthy and I owe it all to God :-)

I think stress has a huge effect on your child. My child's father stressed me so bad that I hated him. When my daughter came she didn't want to be around him
