Olivia Grace is here - 5 weeks early!!!

Well I guess my body knows best.. was feeling under the weather Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday last week.  Went to bed Wednesday night and could not sleep - around 12:30 am I had horrible cramps - loose poo... which then turned into infrequent and not powerful contractions - which evolved into more regular and more painful ones by 3 am.... Finally around 5 am I woke up the hubby and we left for the hospital - I was in Labor... contractions were 3 mins apart.... arrived and was hooked up to the machines - immediatly they started getting the OR ready, Dr arrived and little Olivia was born at 9:09 an on Thursday, June 24th.... she weighed in at 5lbs 2 oz and was 18 inches long... she spent a few hours in the NICU because she swallowed some fluid during delivery - but other than that was perfect..... I started to have a fever a few hours later and was told I had an infection from the c-section - so my recoverly was/is a little slower than it should be and more painful than I expected.. but I am home now and she is sleeping soundly.... so all is well.  Best of Luck to all of you - and I will try to get on as much as possible....

Awwww, congratulations! I love her name!!! So proud of you and so glad to hear everyone is doing great. Rest up and don't feel bad for lazying around these first few weeks. You hear me?! Don't worry about a thing and just focus on her and your healing! ;-)

congrats lady...im so glad you made it to 35 weeks and the baby is healthy...you truly are an inspiration to me and even though my cervix has been holding up i feel more confident that if something changes i know there is still hope....

congrats on the arrival of your daughter...cant wait to see pics
