Swollen "down there"

okay...ive asked this a few time....but is it normal to be swollen "down there" it dont hurt unless im sitting for awhile..it just feels swollen:/ but it dont looks gross again just swollen.....is it go back to normal after i have my son??:( what causes it to swell??:(

I've been swollen too. I've actually got a varicose vein on my vulva. That causes a lot of swelling and discomfort. But my OB said that he has never seen a varicose vein on the vulva not go away after pregnancy.

Increased blood flow can make it swell which is completely normal it happens to me quite a bit and gets uncomfortable sometimes. I usually go in the bathroom and put a cool wet wash cloth between my legs for a few minutes. It makes the swelling go down and makes it feel better
