I read somewhere that people with sinus problems are more likely to pass it onto the baby? Wondering if it was true or not
I got mine at my 32 week appointment. Now I'm just trying to get my boyfriend, mom and sister get it. But I believe my sister might be fine without it since she's utd on shots. I'd have to ask my midwife if she stills needs to get it. But regardless my mom and boyfriend are getting it. Also the flu shots.
There's no side effects. Just slightly tender. About like the flu shot.
My older sister got caught up on her shots and I'm trying to get my younger sister, mom, and boyfriend to get it because they'll be around him the most. And what do you mean people with sinuses?
Did you make anyone else get it in your family? Can ppl with sinuses pass it onto the baby?
I got it, I had no side effects of anything it was quick and painless aside from my arm being a bit tender. But I'd rather be safe than sorry.
Its very important to get while pregnant to protect your baby. Pertussis kills many infants and when you get the shot some immunity to it goes to your baby also. Anyone who lives with you should also get the shot. I got mine a few weeks ago, little pinch barely felt it, arm was a little sore for a few days but that's it.
