The process used to decaffeinate tea is really bad. Better to just limit yourself and drink regular tea. Make sure you continue to drink water as well. The reason were supposed to limit our intake of caffeine is BC it dehydrates you.
I drank only things with caffeine before getting pregnant, now I try to only drink a small portion of caffeine once a day.
Tea is a delicate subject. Many teas contain caffeine, which is okay as long as you are aware of your intake. Most Dr's recommend a limit of 200mg of caffeine daily. Green tea should be drank in moderation. Although green tea can have health benefits when you aren't pregnant, too much green tea can inhibit your bodies absorption of folic acid which is very important, especially during your first trimester. Herbal teas you should discuss with your Dr. Teas like ginger and peppermint are usually considered safe, as are most pregnancy teas, however certain herbs should be avoided or limited during pregnancy so its beat to check with your Dr before drinking anything too out of the ordinary.
You can have caffeine while pregnant...you just have to limit yourself
Or drink decaff t3a. I used to drink iced tea all day every day, since finding out I'm pregnant I rarely drink tea, but when I really want some I'll make a cup of decaff tea and pour it over ice. Decaff tea still has some caffeine but on 2mg per bag (you are allowed 200mg per day)
You could always have red raspberry tea. That's very good during pregnancy
I read that herbal tea can have a bad effect. Since your craving it I would contact your doctor to ask what tea is safe and how much is safe to drink.
It depends. Your suppose to stay Away from caffeine and a lot of tea has caffeine. So I would check the box.
