Thanks ladies! I too think he is teething but wasn't 100% positive. He is usually a very good and happy baby now that we have his acid reflux some what under control. But like I said he is just super cranky lately. Not sleeping well, and drooling up a storm. I had to give him a bath at 1am this morning to try and calm him down to sleep. I let him suck on my finger or hand since he has to wait 30 min for his bottle after he takes his meds, and he was just a chomping on them, he has quite the jaw power lol.
We are giving him his infant tylenol, or rubbing a very small amount of childrens liquid benedryl on his gums....which works wonders, and giving him frozen teethers, and just about anything else that will satisfy his need to chew, knaw, and eat for comfort lol.
In fact he got a hold of daddy's nose the other day lmao, DH went to plant a kiss on him and Conner moved his face so his mouth lined up perfectly to daddy's nose and latched on as quickly as it hit his lips lmao.
Hopefully he will eventually become acustomed to the discomfort of teething and not be so cranky, I dont mind the sparse sleeping (im a night owl) I just hate to see him so upset.
My granddaughter is 7 months old and has been teething since 3 months. She still hasn't popped out a tooth yet, although I think I felt a jagged corner the other day. I have a feeling that those first four teeth are going to come through relatively close together. And for what it's worth, her temperment has changed too - - - quite the crank pot the last week or so - - - but then she will smile at you and you melt.
I forgot how miserable they are when teething. There are days that she has so much drool that it drips off her chin as she crawls - - yuck! Reminds me of a Saint Bernard..
Oh I definitely think he could be teething this early. My girls teethed on and off for months before a tooth ever came through (they each had about 2-4 teeth by their first birthdays so definitely took their time getting teeth!).
In fact, my youngest has all but 4 of her teeth and has been teething for months. She'll be 2 in March.
My son has acid reflux as well so I understand what you are going through with that. Max is just about 6 months old now and let me tell you, he started teething at 2 1/2 months old. All the syptoms you just described, I didn't think it was teething at all because he was so young but at 3 months old his first tooth cut through and a week later his second one cut through. I was so shocked because it was so early. As I said he is almost 6 months old now and just cut his 3rd tooh this past week. Good Luck with the teething and the acid reflux

I totally know about the Reflux roller coaster lol been there got the shirt and boy am I wore out from it lol.
I also know that babies do from time to time change habits especially sleeping patterns. He is not officially trying his hardest to fight his sleep, something he hasn't done before.
I would think that if it was a bad flare up of his GERD he would be having the same signs like I listed above, but he isn't. Its the drooling, chewing, fussiness and sparse sleeping that is all new.
This is my 4th baby, and I so feel like a first time mom again lol. All these issues have never been seen in my older kids. No reflux no nothing, heck they werent even fussy when teething. The only sameness(if thats a word) between Conner and the older boys is that they were all lactose and casien sensitive at birth.
he probabaly is teething but he probaby wont get a tooth until around 5 or 6 months... thats the average.. my daughter has been teething for 5 months and still no tooth has emerged and shes 7 months old.. my daughter also as acid reflux.. and with reflux they can get flare ups that are worse every now and then.. he might be going through a growth spurt.. that affects his sleeping patterns and also has infants get older their habits do tend to change
