I've watched it, and I thought it sends a good message to moms to be- however this is my third and it didn't change my birth plan. I think it's great for first time moms or moms with a perfectly good pregnancy. I'm high risk this third time, but even if I wasn't I like having the options of Pitocin and Epidurals when necessary. It did confuse me in the end when she wanted a home birth but had to deliver at the hospital. Luckily everything went well but it definitely reminds us to be flexible. My opinion though.
I watched it as well and my jaw was literally on the floor after watching it, but like Oct3014 I've decide to go all natural within a hospital environment(:
No just one but this is my 2nd baby and we plan on having one more after this once. Thank you! Same to you too (:
Are you having twins?? I'm sorry to hear that I hope everything goes well =)
I have my doubts tho that the info in the documentary is all true. Either way I have to have my babies in the hospital because I'm high risk.
I had to watch it twice and rewind some parts because it was shocking to me all the info and statistics. But I didn't eliminate all my options I also got info from mom's who did it another way and just thought about what was best for me. I think it's a mind thing when it comes down to it. I know when my mind is at peace and clear I'm calmer and relaxed which is why I chose the natural route and a midwife.
meI'm kind of just at a lost of words...has me thinking
I just posted about this and I love that documentary!! I had to do a paper on it for a medical class and tons of research on the topic. Me personally it changed my while view of giving birth. I plan to go natural but not at home a birthing center and if I do need other help god forbid then I'll have them on stand by but other than that I'm sticking to my plan!
