Go home outfit for mom?

I have been trying to figure out what to pack for me after my baby is born to wear home. I keep wondering what if I end up getting a c section and those pants hit right at the incision? What if that is uncomfortable? How big will I be? So what did you moms who have done this before wear? Or if you are a ftm what do you have packed to wear? The number one answer will probably be yoga pants but I'm so used to wearing thongs (tmi) that I would be uncomfortable wearing such form fitting pants with normal underwear and a huge pad.

I planned on having a vaginal delivery so I packed sweats and a t shirt, then I ended up with a c section and all I did was pull my sweats up higher than I normally would. The incision is in your bikini line, so it won't hit against the waistband.

I wore granny panties, a t-shirt with a zip up sweatshirt, and a new pair of pajama pants.

I'm taking a comfortable dress too to wear home, you will be alot smaller, and walking weird like your stomach is going to fall out. And need granny panties too because you'll have to wear a pad

I am taking a maxi dress to wear home, so no matter csection or natural birth it won't be touching anything sensitive.

Your body is gonna wanna be comfortable! Doesn't matter what you wear! I'm bringing pj's and sweatpants to go home in, I am just going home after all.

Dress for comfort afterward.  A pair of sweats and a t-shirt or a loose dress. I would avoid anything that was too tight.

And they are gunna make you take.off.the dress when u go.into labor and get into a hospital gown so it doesn't really matter what you wear up there.
