I would wait if you are going to retest ....
Your period probably wasn't regular because you came off the birth control.... that's what makes sense to me. It happened to me.

i stopped on the 2nd and i was 4 days late getting my period. i havent had sex since the 1st so i think i must be in the clear. . .but the thing is my "period" i had wasnt regular. very light and spotty....and i have been off BC before and coming off didnt do this. is it pointless to retest??

When I stopped taking it, I had another period basically as soon as I came off of it and then it took me a while to get into a regular routine.
The test you took today would say negative because you've had a period since you had sex. I really don't think that you could be pregnant at this point.

The past two months have been crazy for me. I had my last regular period on december 9th and it lasted through december 12th. My boyfriend and i are in a long distance relationship and i flew out to see him on the 20th of December and stayed with him through the 2nd of January.During this time i was on the pill which i started taking on December 16th. After i spent the holiday with him, i moved to another state and have started college. This past month, my period was 4 days late and when it came it was extremely light. It came on January 8th and lasted ended the 12th, but it was very light, like spotting. Also, i have been experiencing shooting breast pains, frequent urination (2-3 times an hour) and the past 3 or 4 days i have been having a light brown discharge, but not enough to wear a pad or tampon. Also a few days ago i had shooting side pain, and a dull lower back pain, and for about a week everytime i stand up or walk up a flight of stairs i get extremely dizzy, to the point where i think im going to pass out. Also the past 2 days i have woken up feeling very nauses but i dont throw up, and i get the nausa feeling before bed. I thought implantation bleeding, but the numbers dont match up because the last time i had sexual intercourse was on the 1st of January. And i was on the pill so i dont know!!!
Also this could be stress related seeing as i moved away from home and have started college. I have never had a late period before, nor this kind of spotting....any ideas????

Good luck! If you haven't peed for a couple of hours and haven't had much to drink you should be okay to take it when you get back.
