When you go into real labor what happens....

Okay. Let me say, my water broke and mucus plug fell out within 10 minutes of one another. The only pain i felt was what i assumed was my kid dropping bc it was 5 weeks early. So i went in and they gave me my epidural even though i wasnt feeling anything. I got stuck at 4 or 6 cm, so they gave me pitocin to get me going again. THAT was when i started feeling contractions. Probably not the worst pain ive ever been in but good hod did it hurt. So then i flew up to 10 cm and this is what i want to tell you that no one told me.... it felt like i had to take the biggest crap of my life ever and very badly. Turns out, that means its time to push. Then pushing was a breeze for me. I know some women push for ever, but hopefully you get it as well as i did. 3-4 sets of pushing and he was out.

Then everything became a big blur bc they were trying to get him breathing. But the next thing i knew the dr was sewing me up and that hurt as well.

After that, it just burns to pee at first but they give you stuff to help with that. And also, if you have to get stitches, youll probably feel them pull a little sometimes when you're walking.

I was induced and I've gone natural. I'd choose natural again before being induced anyday.

I was induced before,I received the pain medicine before i could feel the pain. When you go into labor on your own you have a chance of feeling the contractions without an epidural thats what im trying to dodge so I think im going to get induced.

I was induced and since it was my first idk what the pain was versus natural. But you're going to get contractions no matter how u go into labor.

No. You don't dodge the pain by getting induced. When u get induced,  you go in, they start pitocin that sends your body into labor. The contractions I've heard can be more painful due to the fact that you are forcing your body into labor.

So induction would be better because you dodge the pain, being that you are induced.

Contractions are 3-5 min apart for over an hour, usually very strong, hard to talk through...you go to the hospital, they check your progression and dilation...if you need pain meds they will assist, if you need to walk the halls to get things going faster you can for the most part, after you are dilated to 10 you get to push, sometimes the doc will coach you when to push, you want to do it during a contraction. Then, BAM, baby is here :)
