36 week check up and not dialated

So I went for my check up today and I'm about 36 weeks. My doc says I was completely closed and I wanted to slap her! I've been feeling like crap I can't imagine what it's gonna be like if I make it to like 40 weeks. It's not that I want her to come early, I know it's important for the baby to be fully cooked but man I just want to have her when she's full term, at 37 weeks. Have any of you been closed and still delivered on time without an induction??

Yep! With both of my pregnancies. My water broke with both boys.  I was 37 weeks even with my first, and 37 weeks 4 days with my second. I had c sections, but went into labor on my own both times.

Everyone's body is different.  I'm 36 wks now and not dialted at all...I was the same way at 39 wks with my son.  He was delievered at 39 wks by c-section bcause he was sitting on my kidney causing constant infections.  I know how you feel! This one was over 5lbs when I was only 32 wks and we're scheduled for the 20th of June.  I want him to come sooner :( I was hoping that I'd dialte a little on my own and if I went into labor they would take me in early...but the way its looking, I may have to wait.  Hang in there and good luck!
