If you have netflix you should watch my strange addiction there's a lady on there that did that and it wasn't good so I can't imagine it would be good for you or your baby
Don't just take an iron supplement! That's typically for people craving ice/dirt it could be another vitamin your not getting enough of you need to call your doctor immediately. Remember whatever you eat your baby eats and can harm the baby there are very foul chemicals in paper products I'm not bashing just concerned pica is a serious condition and you really need to let your doctor know I would call as soon as the office is open
I heard about this. Are you taking prenatal vitamins? I think its due to being low in iron
When you crave weird stuff you are missing something in your diet. Some women will actually crave clay and dirt too. You need to have a blood test done to see what you're missing and get on a medication or special diet.
There was a episode of this girl who ate toilet paper and it really messed up her insides, granted she ate like 3 rolls a day for some years, its just not a good idea.
I would wait to get a prescription from your doctor though. Iron overdose is easy and serious. Adding more iron to diet is good though. Beans, meat, and oddly enough watermelon has as much iron as spinach and is good for morning sickness.
I would take an iron supplement on top of your prenatal. Even the prenatal with iron wasn't enough for my levels to be normal. I didn't crave anything like that, but I would say you're probably pretty out of whack iron wise.
Iron deficiency. Are you taking your prenatals? Eat more iron in your diet or use vitamins! Iron is important for the body, especially while pregnant.
Honey you need to be calling your dr. Anything like that isnt normal :(
Sorry I didn't copy and paste the link for u. I'm on my phone and it wasn't copying :/ but I just goggled craving toilet paper when pregnant and it was the 3rd link down
I just goggled it cuz I was curious. Craving non food items is a condition called pica. Due to an iron defienxy. It said not to eat it and to contact ur Dr. Maybe chew it only instead of actually eating it until u see ur Dr.
I haven't told her yet .. I have an appointment in 2 days .. I hope its safe
You may want to mention it to your doctor. It could be a iron deficiency.
Is that safe to do? I'm not judging at all but does ur Dr know?
I chew it but I don't swallow lol
