I think i'm pregnant...

Hello. I am experiencing alot of the pregnancy symptoms described. I did have a late period but it wasn’t normal… It only lasted 3 days and was not heavy but not very light either. It started on aug. 31 and ended on the 2nd of sept. and then on the 4th I got a yeast infection and started having a light pink spotting which I have never had either of these. I took 2 pregnancy tests and they both were negative and I am not sure if I just took them too early. I have had sore breasts and I get sick to my stomach alot. I used to love cheetos but now when I even smell them it makes me want to throw up… I have to go to the bathroom nearly 10 times in an hour. I feel bloated and my pants hardly fit anymore… Am I pregnant? I don’t know when to take another test or if I need to just go to te gynecologist. Help!

It's not too early to test.  Many women test 3 days after a missed period.  Most likely you're not pregnant.  Did the doc give you any suggestions on why you are having these symptoms?

I'm not too sure why they would say it's too early to test. You would be at least 6 weeks pregnant, and that is in no way too early to know. Many women find out they're pregnant at 3-4 weeks of pregnancy. hCG doubles roughly every 48-72 hours in a viable pregnancy, so in just a few days your levels would be more than high enough for levels to detect. OTC pregnancy tests are also sensitive enough to pick up hCG levels levels as low as 7.5, with the standard being 20-50 mIU of hCG. More than likely, no you're not pregnant. If you had this many symptoms you should be showing positive by now.

I think you should go to a doctor.  Especially seeing you have a regular period.  It doesn't hurt to make an appointment.  That is 2wks plus since you were suppose to start your period and seeing this spotting is not a norm for you, have it checked out.

Don't get discouraged.  I know it could be difficult when we ladies are trying to conceive.  Hang in there.

Good Luck to you!  I hope everything works out for you.

Should I go to a doctor now or should I just wait until my next expected period??

Well my last actual period was the 26th of July and we had unprotected sex on the day I was supposed to be ovulating. Then I was supposed to start on the 25th of August and didn't start until the 31st and it wasn't my normal 6 day period. I took the first test the 2nd of september. then on the 4th. And I just took one this morning and it was negative again... I am getting discouraged, because I just feel pregnant and I also really want to be.

When did you take the pregnancy test?  If you are pregnant, you are right, you might have taken it too early.  And when taking the pregnancy tests try taking them as soon as you wake up.  How late was your period?  I waited for about a week after my expected period date before I took a pregnancy test.  If you take a pregnancy test after about 1wk after your expected period and the test still shows negative, make an appointment with your doc.

Good Luck to you!

Sorry for the double post.
