serious birth control question.

I am constantly thinking about which kind of birth control is best for me to be on after i give birth. . I have heard so many horror stories just about ALL kinds of birth control and i have never been on it. . I dont want a little piece of plastic inside of me and i heard the shot makes u fat and that they can cut u open to insert a patch as well nowadays, i am aiming for the pill but i have also heard that if u miss and even if you dont miss u can still get pregnant so that freaks me out but it seems the safest and best for me. . Which is best form? Which has worked for you? And has anyone ever gotten pregnant off the pill when taking it everyday as u should?? Thanks ladies(:

I was on the pill for 4 years and loved it! I didn't gain weight and my hormones weren't out of control. I think after I have my baby that's what I'll do because we want to try for another baby about a year after this one is born.

I lovedd the pill, as long as you're careful (like I don't allow my husband to finish in me at all, and we watch out for my ovulation days) ANY birth control you can get pregnant on, so it's best to be safe with whatever you decide. Maybe the pill and condoms?

everyone's body is different so it really just depends and you may end up having to figure out what  is best for you by trial basis. i got pregnant with twins on the pill and i took it everyday at 9pm everyday... i had nuva ring i didn't feel it at all but i developed ovarian cysts while on the nuva ring.

The pill worked awesome for me,even made my skin better but...i felt a lil crazy on it,emotional hormonal.i gained like 20pounds on depo an felt SUPER crazy on it.so im in the same boat being unsure of what to use after i have my bub..ill prob just go back to condoms,no weight gain or hormones an it never broke for us (hubby will hate that but whatevs lol)

I wouldnt ever ever take the pill, my best pal has two children both of which she got pregnant while being on the pill, I got pregnant on the pill too and miscarried. I have at the jag on the bum, it was really great but when I came off it my period went crazy it lasted three months coz the jag stops your period while your on it so I guess it was catchin up on its self, the best is the rod I feel nothing goes wrong with the rod
