Urine smells gross...

Some of you know that I got my bfp last week... Well... since then, my urine smells gross... Idk if it's pregnancy related or what. I have no signs of infections or anything but the smell is like raw hamburger meat.... It's worse in the morning... Is this normal?

I drank more liquids and the smell went away. Its usually first morning urine that smells bad.... We are snowed in, so going to the doctor is kind of an issue right now. Mannn :(


Also, if DF and I bd, could the smell from that be there making it that way? Before, it would cause a smell the next day. My smell has increased a lot so is it what I've smelt before, just stronger?


I have azo and have asked my doctor before if i could take that months ago, and I was reassured it was okay. Should I take that now even though it went away from drinking more liquids?

you will want to drink some cranberry juice and get it check out right away. it could be nothing.. or it could be a UTI. I had the same thing when I was pregnant.. i was peeing alot, it smelt strange.. and assumed it was part of pregnancy.. no burning or pain or anything..  

If you have UTI, it could cause a miscarriage so being safe is better.

I would have a test done for a urine infection just to be on the safe side, there is medication that is safe to take in pregnancy if You are experiencing an infection

congrats on the BFP!
I had this at about 5 weeks i was getting really nervous so had test for urine infection and the nurse just said your urine is very concerntrated so drink more water i said thats ok but ur not peeing every 10mins (haha.)
Drink plenty of water and try some cramberry juice if it is a urine infection this is the natural way of flushing it out.
