Using a Breast pump?

So I'm only 20 weeks pregnant with my first child. And I really, really want to try breast feeding/pumping before I give into formula. My questions are: can you pump before the baby is born? If so, when can women usually start pumping? What different ways can you store your pumped milk? And how long does the milk stay fresh to use?

Thanks a lot (:

Boo on that lol. Was really hoping you could pump before hand to get a nice little stash going (: oh well. Guess I'll just have to be patient!

You Don't want to pump before the baby is born, you won't really get anything out of your breasts before then and it can cause preterm labor. Once baby is born and you start pumping you can use breastmilk storage bags to keep milk in. It can last 3-4 days in fridge and 6-12 months in freezer

You will only have colostrum while pregnant. Your milk starts to flow after the baby is out.
