HELP! THE DOC SAW A GESTATIONAL SAC BUT NO BABY AND IS TALKING ABOUT GIVING ME A D&C HELP!

Here is my story! I went to the ER cuz I had a little spotting and a positive home pregnancy test. That day my hcg levels were 961. Monday I went to my regular doctor and did another hcg and my level was 1950. That thursday I went in for an ultrasound and doctor said I do not see a baby we will have to test your hcg levels again If we do not see a fetus next week we will probably have to do a D&C. So friday got my hcg levels back from thrusday it was 4000 Today I went to the ER cuz I panicked my HCG levels today were 6000 I had a urinary tract infection and they said that they saw a gestational sac and a yolk sac but I am extremely early I dont know what to do I am very scared please HELP I ALREADY BBURIED A CHILD I DONT WANNA LOSE ANOTHER!

Well I went to my OB yesterday and had my U/S. Let me start off by saying the machine was very old and not very good. She said I was measuring 6weeks 6days....which may be right...maybe not by my calculations.  But then she said my new EDD was March 13th. Which makes no sense...it would put me at seven weeks today which is a Saturday so you would thing my due date would also be on a Saturday, not a Tuesday. So I just think she messed up and meant my due date is the 10th of March...not the 13th.

I'm just hoping that either the machine was too old and she didn't get a correct measurement or my dates are really off and I'm not just measuring behind.  Or implantation was a little late...they dates just seem off to me.

But we did see a heart beat and I feel like CRAP! So I am holding onto that lol.

That is awesome news!!! So your dates were off some which made things more stressful! So glad you got to see your little bean with an excellent heartbeat! I go for my 2nd ultrasound tomorrow hoping to get as good of news as you! Congrats again!!!!

The chances of miscarriage once a heartbeat is seen are slim. Trying to relax a little and enjoy it. --This is also why I said you shouldn't go so crazy when you have no indicator anything is even wrong. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

We saw a baby  heart beat is 130 due date is march 12 I am still nervous cuz I know that the pregnancy can go south  at any moment so please continue your prayers for this baby and I will do the same for you guys. much love, Allison.

We are due on the same day. I had an ultrasound on July 8th and they didn't see anything except a gestational sac...my OB said that is what she expected because I was only 5 weeks and not to worry at all! My HCG numbers were doing exactly as they should just like yours so your Dr. was CRAZY to suggest a D&C that early! It sounds like he didn't know what he was talking about....also even if you ovulated on the 13th or 14th you could have implanted late which would make you not as far along...a couple of days matter in early pregnancy! Try not to worry yourself the fact that your levels are so high is a VERY good sign...they doubled just as they should and seeing a yolk sac is also a VERY VERY good sign. Good luck! I'll be looking for your update on Thursday! I have my ultrasound on Friday! :-) SSBD!!!!!

JUST AN UPDATE! Yesterday My HCG levels were 11136 and my progesterone was 12.9 up from 11.5 I HOPE WE SEE A BABY OR SOMETHING NEW THURSDAY I am really nervous and I ask that all of you ladies keep me in your prayers :/

Thank you I feel like they are just I don't know I get the feeling that they have no hope My progesterone is 11 on thursday and I read on the internet that the normal range for first trimester is 9-47 so I don't why they are freaking me out like this.

hi allie, i agree with the others, it is a *very good sign* that your levels are going up!!! also, i would never advise getting a d&c just because a dr didn't see what he wanted to see on an ultrasound this early in your pregnancy!!! they do make mistakes with ultrasounds, and at this stage of development they likely wouldn't be able to see anything more than they did! (and seeing a yolk sak is a very good thing).
try to relax and trust and enjoy that everything will be okay. hugs

With my pregnancy I had severe IUGR INTRA UTERINE GROWTH RESTRICTION WITH SEVER PREACLAMPSIA she could not grow

WELL I am just gonna let what ever will happen happen if it is meant to be it will be there is nothing I can do for the pregnancy but to take my meds and vitamins I will keep you guys posted but should I go thursday or wait till the 26th ?

I understand this, but generally this would make you hope to have a healthy pregnancy, not say that you're hoping for the worst and that at least this time you don't have to pay funeral costs.

Are you sure your dates were right as well? For her to be a 26 week baby and be 11 oz and 11 inches is very tiny. That corresponds more to a 20-21 week gestation baby. I know my own daughter personally was estimated at 14 oz at my 20 week scan.

well i don't know i am very traumatized i went through hell with my first they told me to just go home and wait for her to die. well preaclampsia set in and she had to be delivered she was 11 oz 11 inches so please forgive im just traumatized.
