HAHA I'M VERY PICKY TOO SO I THINK THIS IS BETTER THAT WE JUST SHOP FOR IT OUR SELVES LOL
lol! well that's understandable! It isn't a bad thing, at least you'll be able to pick exactly what you want for baby, some gifts may not be...desirable...lol I'm having a boy, and got a couple rather girly outfits at my shower, lol I gave them to a friend of mine who is due the month after me though, so it worked out! haha
THANK U..... I DON'T THINK I'M HAVING A BABYSHOWER SO I WILL BE GETTING IT ON MY OWN WELL ME AND MY BF LOL
I've mostly just got a car seat, a crib, tons upon tons of baby clothing (of different sizes, you'll want stuff newborn and up in case baby is born and doesn't fit in newborn for too long), you'll want variety in the clothes, for different weather conditions, baby toiletries (shampoo, baby powder, baby oil/lotion, etc.) tons and tons of diapers, formula (if you're not strictly breastfeeding), you'll want to get stuff for yourself also, like nursing pads for the inside of your bras (leaking happens I've heard, lol) pads for after giving birth (bleeding after birth, they don't want you using tampons), pacifiers for baby, medical type supplies (thermometer, nasal asperator (to clear out their nose), baby q-tips, etc.), baby bag, diaper wipes. Honestly there's so much to think of. Start with the priorities, like the car seat, crib/bassinet, clothing, diapers, wipes, and by the time you get closer to your due date (or even ask for them at your baby shower if you have one) get the stuff that isn't as "important" to have relatively early. Congrats!
Google " shopping list for first baby" its easier than writing it all out lol
