Waiting to have sex

Has anybody ever had sex before their six week check up after delivery? I know the doctors forbid it cause of early pregnancy but I would like to hear your stories.

My husband and I had sex after about 2 1/2 weeks after our first. We had gone from having it multiple times a day to nothing so neither of us could wait any longer. We took it slow and used protection and it didn't hurt me and didn't get pregnant, that was 2 months later!  Waited about 3 or 4 weeks with our second. No problems then either. Don't think I'll have a problem waiting the 6 weeks this time though, with 2 toddlers and an infant I'm doubting I'll feel up to it ever again lol.

I was 3-4 weeks postpartum. I was tender but it didn't hurt and it probably helped that my husband was about to leave for Arizona for military training for over a month. And I had a 5 week check up not 6 and he said I was completely fine.

I did I think it was just 3 weeks after I had my daughter. And I had to be cut so I had stitches.
Well they were almost healed. Well we tried and it was absolutely horrible. It hurt so bad. I felt like my stuff was like crazy raw. Lol omg it so horrible. But I had felt bad that it had been so long for my husband so I just toughed it out.

after both my kids i waited till i was done bleeding. so about 3-4 weeks.
just gotta use protection, and go slow.. feels a little painful at first, idk if its because of the long break of just not having for a month or because of birth ( i had c sections so no baby came out down there as well lol)

I always waited. Way too tired and nervous about anything going around that area after delivery lol but I know some moms are able to continue shortly after delivery with no problems.
