Weight loss while pregnant?

I know it isn't recommended and frowned upon  but I'm sure it isn't killer completely. I want to lose eight because at 2 months pregnant I already gained 6 pounds. Call it selfish. Call it what you will. I do not intend on blowing the heck up. So any suggestions on how to diet? (No not like starve, but what foods to avoid and what portions of what) I should start walking now!

Started out at 261, then 266, I'm back to 261, I'm 26 weeks.. you wouldn't think I'm over 200. Its all in how you carry it. I eat how and what I want. I work a lot and try to stay busy so I don't over eat. I may be over weight, but it has nothing to do with it. I over indulge when I want and I have yet to gain anything. I was worried about gaining too, that will pass.. and it will trust me. I will see what I weigh Friday, but I check every week and the scale showed I lost. Water weight is a big part of it too.. do what you want, you will anyway.. its not our worry to worry over.

I'm just glad I have no symptoms so morning sickness isn't an issue. I'll just cut down on greasy foods! (I don't get cravings) but if I do, doctor said its okay to have some in moderation just to stop the craving. She told me I don't have to indulge in things I don't want too even if I'm craving it such as like... Pickles. She said just one to 4 slices and I'm okay.

Lol, I'm gonna ignore the other comments and contain my vulgar language only because they'll see a bunch of little astrics. Anyway, I had a chat with the doctor and they told me I shouldn't eat 2 full meals instead she wrote down a chart of exactly and what time and what to eat and how much of it. She says 4-5 meals daily. Its about quality not quantity, and even suggested what excercises i can perform and also water aerobic tips! sounds like fun! All really delicious yet healthy stuff. Thanks to all who have been understanding and realistic as well and not just going up my *** about how I'm starving my child. And now it is I appalled about how you can say you contribute to this forum yet like to bash lol.

Im eating healthy, lots of water, fruits and veggies. Im doing a lot more meals including tofu abd less meat (mostly cuz it makes me sick) and i was in my oerfect BMI pre-pregnancy. I eat little meals more often since my stomach is all squash lol and at 35+6days (ive lost 10lbs before cuz of morning sickness) but went back up and gained an extra 1lbs. So really i gained 11lbs in total but im only 1lbs over my original weight. My dr isnt happy and says i should gain more. Unlike you im not trying to watch my weight it just happened naturally. Yes it is selfish (just being honest) because you may of gained 8-10lbs now but doeant mean youll gained that much every month. Ur eating pattern will go up and down during ur pregnancy. Some weeks youll eat less then others. And if u breastfeed your bond to lose all ur baby weight withing 2-4weeks. And some women are very careful with what they eat and exercises and still gain 60lbs. A lot is just water being held and remember u have a placenta and aminiotic fluid and the rest. If u have more fluids youll weight more....if baby weights more youll weight more.

I eat healthy and stay active and I'm still getting huge! I was 100 lbs before and have gained 28. I'm still confident I'll lose it once baby is here.
