Werid Greenish Dischrage?!

First off i'm 13w preggers, and I just noticed that I have been having a weird greenish discharge, no oder, however, I do itch down there a little bit.  But was normal for me right before I would get my period prior to pregnancy.  I know that this is TMI, but I was just wondering.

I know that this weird Greenish Discharge that I am having isn't good, however, I was first wondering if anyone has experianced this during pregnancy and if so what it is.  I have a phone call into the doctor, however, it's after 5pm my time so who knows when I'll hear back.

This is just a guess, but all women have what is called "Bartholin Glands," on each other side of the vagina, in the interlabia.  These glands can become clogged at any time, pregnant or otherwise.  These glands when slightly clogged can produce that greenish "discharge" that you see.  If they become clogged, they will produce a plum size lump on the inner labia, that is painful and hot feeling.

No matter what it is, you should contact your doctor to make sure you do not have an infection.  Don't want any harm to come to you, if anitbiotics can clear this up.

Please take care of yourself.

All the Best,
Heather

Is the discharge only green after it has been on the liner for a while? I have been having normal clear or white discharge but I notice that after a couple hours of it being on the liner it changes to a greenish yellow.  I always check when I wipe to see what color it is and it's never green right away.

I know this is TMI and I'm sorry, but here it goes.  I put a tampon inside of me for like 1 minute to see what color it was that I was "leaking out." And it turned out that it was clear this time.  So I decied to get in the shower and wash "down there" very good, since then I haven't had any more weird greenish discharge or any more itching!!!  Though my friend said that the reason why I may be itching (TMI) is because I shave down there and where I itch is inbetween my labia... Not my actually vagina.  So what I'm thinking is that there is a build up of my vaginal secreations down there that's irritating me.  As to why it's green every now and then I am at a loss.

I guess I should have mentioned that the only time that I'm noticing this is when I wear a pad... when I just wear panties I just see white in them.  But like I said did call me doc. however, I haven't gotten a call back from him yet.  And I'm guessing that I wont until tomorrow since it's late.

Might be an infection. I found out I had one at my 8 week appointment and I wasn't even aware of it. It's pretty normal for pregnancy to get bacterial infections. I'd call your doc they'll probably want to test and then put you on antibiotics.

With my first pregnancy my discharge was usually whitish/yellowish and every now and then I would see some greenish discharge. No odor or pain at all. I called my midwife, and she said sometimes it could be normal to change like that and unless I am very itchy or it smells, then not to worry. Like I said, it only happened a few times, and I was fine. No infection or anything. (I've actually never had a yeast infection or anything like that) But definitely call your doc since you said you are itchy.

Green discharge is not normal (what you thought was normal for you before your period started is not actually normal at all).  Definitely mention this to your doctor.

I think green discharge could also mean an infection as well. Yeast infections are usually cheesy, right? So green discharge is not something I'm familiar with. I know that my prenatal vitamins make my urine discolored so it could be that as well and not necessarily an infection at all.
