when to take pregnancy test?

i am  5/6 days past ovulation if i calculated right. how long do you have to wait
to take a pregnancy test to see if you did end up pregnant

i was asking since today i've been feeling a little bloated swollen breast and a little crampy. and ofcourse i wanna test but i dont wanna get a false negative if i actually am.

Generally you wait 2 weeks after sex/ovulation to take a pregnancy test. For most women this is when their next period is due.

I would wait until your period is due. That will be more accurate. If you test before that, it may be too early. Your HCG levels may not be high enough for an HPT to detect.

So wait about another week and do an HPT with FMU
