What are ( YOUR ) must Haves in your Nursery..

Hello Ladies.. My question is.. What do you feel like are the most usefull - Important items to have in your nursery.. What do you think will benefit other expected mothers to have.. Cant wait to hear from everyone.. Thanks and God bless

I agree about the swaddler blankets. I just used recieving blankets they work just as good.  and are cheaper, my son doesnt even care to be swaddled, never did, just lay him down and he goes to bed, he dont even like to be covered up.  

My son absolutly LOVES his bouncy, just like alyasha said, it was one of my sons favorite places to sleep. actually its his first choice, but I try to only let himt ake his 20-hour naps in there. Hes getting alot better..

Must Haves:
Baby Powder
Lotion
Thermoeter(very nessacary)
LOTS of Burp Clothes
I didnt get a a changing table, I bought a Pack n Play with a changer on it, which he has only slept in that, hes never even been in a crib yet.
Diaper rash creme
Nail clippers, have a few handy, I have to cut my sons nails like 2 a week, they grow so fast.
I dont know if anyone else uses these but I love them..Diaper sacks.. there scented lil blue bags that you can put stinky diapers in for the trash, there like a dollar for a bunch of them and actually smell really good, and help alot.


Dont need:
I think wipe warmers are a waste of money
and so are bottle warmers just my opinion
I never got my son a swing, my sister puts him in hers at her house but he doesnt really seem to care, he loves his bouncy, hes defiently not a traiter.  lol

All but one of my kids LOVED the swing and especially the bouncey seat. I don't bother with sleep positioners my kids hated them and if you swaddle them just right they don't go anywhere anyway.  My brother got me a mobile for my last one and my son loves it.  It's the only one I've ever had that my kids liked.  I can't remember what it's called but it has a button to push and moon shaped night light comes on it plays for different types of music and projects stars on the ceiling and has little bears that hang from it.  It also has a noise activated mode so it will come on if baby makes a certain level of noise and it has a remote for parental operation from a distance.

My Must have's:
1.) Crib with infant sleep positioner (for newborns)
2.) Changing Table (I still use it daily, and Jax is 19.5 months)
3.) Rocking chair
4.) Night light (for middle of the night diaper changes and feedings)
5.) Receiving blankets/burp cloths
6.) Diaper stacker
7.) wipes
8.) lotion, powder
9.) thermometer
10.) Monitor

I really think it all depends on the baby and the mother's/father's choices. I bought things for my first son that I didn't buy with my second... But they both LOVED their bouncy seats and swings. There are the basics (somewhere for them to sleep, a way to feed them, diapers, etc.) but every baby is different with their preferences in what they like and don't like. Other than the basics it is really going to be your choice for what you get for your little one.

crib( not a drop side crib, ) bedding. Stay away from the fancy sets, all you need are sheets and breathable crib bumper, use receiving blanket to swaddle, sleep sacks for when they are a little older. if you want a mobile try the Tiny Love Classic Developmental Mobile(you can remove the top and just have the music box) my son who is 21 months likes the music to play when I put him to bed .Changing table, rocking chair , night light, good monitor.Dont bother with those diaper genies etc.. Just get a small bin with a lid and change bags everyday.
