OT 9 month check up?

Did anyone else/is anyone else taking their baby to a 9 month check up? With Elijah it was 6 months then one year, and now they go in at 9 months? Aubryana has a 9 month check up next month, no shots...

I had those for my two middle ones when were stationed in Okinawa, apparently some docs do em, some don't.  I was used to having a 9 mos check up and was shock to get here and find they don't do them.

Lexi is still on state medicaid for the time being, they'll probably kick her off at her birthday. We barely qualified for it anyways due to our income. They called me a week ago to remind me of her next well check. I was confused as well, because I thought her well checks were 2, 4, 6, and 12 months. I was a little shocked to find out that they wanted to see her at 9 months. I am glad that they reminded me though, because otherwise she would have missed it! I suppose I just assumed that they wouldn't want to see her back until her one year shots.

NicMom...I guess so. Elijah went at 2, 4, 6, 12, and 18 months for shots/checkup.

We did 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 and then they spread out after that. Our dr said it's a new trend to see them more often.

At my sons 6 month check up his Doctor said his next check up will be 9 months, no shots! Then the 1 year check up. Its just to make sure they are developing as they should.
